How it Works
Trust in Blue is an agent which connects families, individuals and businesses across the UK with trusted and reliable self-employed handymen. Each of our handymen carries an Enhanced DBS (CRB) Certificate, all are verified retired police officers and all must prove their skills prior to joining our network.
You can make a handyman enquiry online or by calling our friendly Helpdesk on 0800 255 0 255. You can also contact us on behalf of others, such as relatives or friends. Our Helpdesk team will then pass your enquiry on to your nearest local handyman.
Within 48 hours your handyman will be in touch to discuss your job in more detail. At this stage they will arrange a convenient Estimate Visit date with you. If for any reason they can’t help you with the job then you will receive a call from the Helpdesk to let you know.
Within 2 weeks of your enquiry you’ll receive a visit from your handyman to view the job. At this stage the handyman will give you a written estimate for works.
Smaller jobs can often be done then and there on the Estimate Visit. Larger jobs will be arranged with your handyman for a convenient date. If you find that you need to reschedule a job please give at least 24 hours’ notice so that the handyman can plan accordingly.
For domestic clients payment is due directly to the handyperson after the job has been completed. You can pay by cash, cheque or BACS to the handyperson themselves.
Regardless of which payment method you choose to use you’ll receive a summary receipt for payment directly from your handyman on completion of your job.
VAT Registered Account Clients
If you are a VAT Registered business please set up an account and our Helpdesk will then be able to issue VAT invoices from TIB Services Ltd.
After the job is completed we will ask you to review your handyman. Regular reviews allow us to maintain the highest levels of customer service. It’s also a chance to say ‘thanks’ if you feel the handyman deserves it!
